exhaust questions

    Does anyone know if the Sanderson headers for the 340 are worth the cost? I seem to remember someone on here saying that the stock 340 manifolds flow well, but is the improvement noticeable with the headers. Would the headers or stock manifolds be better for a later turbocharger? Maybe custom manifolds for that? Also, whats the concensus on mufflers? Had flowmasters in the past, but never really pleased with them. Been looking at either Magnaflows or Dynomax mufflers for the Skylark, as currently it is dumping out a straight pipe, and sounds like a dragster. Don't want something too loud, but with a nice deep tone.

    If the car is a street car you will find very little gain with the Sanderson headers.

    I say stay with the manifolds and build a turbo kit off of them, just route the exhaust together behind the engine and then back up to a turbocharger on the passenger side of the engine.

    I swear by the magnaflow mufflers, they are the best as far as I am concerned.
