Thinking of using TAs 3 inch system with their collectors. Already have their headers.

Sounds like Walker has found a cheaper way to make them! Thinner metal and less fiberglass.
I used Walker 17749’s on my ‘68 GS400 with the Torque Tech 2 1/2” pipes. Perfect fit. In fact, my exhaust guy said it was the best-fitting pre-bent exhaust system that he had installed.
But Torque Tech is long gone so your results may vary…

With the 3 inch system, what length muffler case ? Looks like for flowmaster, the options are 13 inch or 19 inch. Thanks :)

Look under the vehicle. What do you have room for? Which would fit better?

Given a choice, and if there was enough room, I'd always opt for the bigger muffler. Probably not a Flowmaster muffler, but a big-case unit from someone else.

I've got the biggest Walker Super Turbo 3" muffler that will fit in my 70 Stage 1 car with 3" exhaust and it fits without issues. It is side in, side out.

I've got the smaller Walker Super Turbo 2.5" muffler in my 350 car and I had to add about 8" of exhaust pipe from the collector to the mid pipe to reach. It is also side in, side out with no issues.

If anything, the 350 car sounds little more rumbly than the Stage 1 car but neither is offensive or so loud you can't talk inside the car.

Off topic, but I like how the sway bar tucks up nice and tight to the center section. Is that factory or aftermarket? Too many aftermarket sway bars hang way too low.
