Exhaust manifold

    no, Tom,,, you do the center bolts first when bolting down any long piece of metal to keep it from humping up in the center... that lets the ends move outward and mate up good to the head.... after you get it together , start it up and after it gets hot , shut down the engine and retighten from the center to each end.......

    Got the broken bolt drilled out today. Man what a pain. I screwed that up just about every way I could, but still got it out. Machine shop on Monday.

    The exhaust repair is on hold. But! Ive sent the fenders and hood to a bodyshop to be blasted and primed. That should stop the rust, looking for new inner fenders now. You can buy new Rh from then and now but, the lh is a little harder to find. Its a shame they dont make plastic ones like the Chevelles( just think of the weight loss ):laugh:
