Well, I tried the search, and couldn't find the info I need. I have a 67 430 bored .060 over. Other than that it is bone stock, adn I plan on keeping it that way. It is in my 67 225 Vert.

The motor has just been rebuilt, and the carb is in need of a rebuild or replacement. It has a Carter AFB on it now. I am looking at just getting a Edleborock for its simplicity and the fact that this is a cruiser, not a street terror.

What CFM should I get. I've heard even the stock motors love CFM, so is 750 or 800 the order of the day?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave,

800cfm min. Big block (Q-Jet) carbs are calibrated differently than small block. Be advised.
Edel. also makes an 850 that might be better for your application IMO..

You will find it hard to beat a Q-jet for your application.

Contact John Osborne and see if he has an 800 for sale. You can't go wrong.

Gotta love the Q-jet for streetability... With a stock intake you'll have good vacuum and it should operate well without any mods at all...

Thanks for the replys guys. I knew they liked CFM, I thought 800 would be overkill, but the consensus is to find an 800cfm Q-jet. I'll give John Osbourne a call.

    Thanks again.

Oh, the guys at Summit told me to go with a 650. LOL
