I’ve been collecting all the parts needed for a Display Stage 1 engine and have finally gotten everything I need but I don’t have extra head bolts or intake bolts to assemble it. I don’t want to buy new because this will never run, I just want to bolt it together so if anyone would like to send me their old crappy never gonna use sets I’ll pay the shipping. Also need a Timing cover that’s not good enough to run, but looks ok on the outside. Thanks in advance for any help!
TTT….I was really hoping to get some help on these from the group, I guess just paying shipping won’t do it so I’ll offer to pay, show me what you have and how much you want for these needed bolts and timing cover, also just realized I need a fan, I have the clutch for that just need the blades.
Let me look when I get home I am pretty sure I can hook you up with a timing cover and maybe head and intake bolts. Not promising,but may have a fan.Any specific type fan blade?
5 blade will work but would prefer a 7, building a display only Stage 1. Thanks for the efforts much appreciated!
These are some of what I have.What width fan? Will one of the fans be ok? I'll look for bolts later tonight.
Haven't located the bolts so you may take Steve up on his offer. The 1st fan is 18 inches the 2nd one 19 inches

Dano, thanks for the help. yes it’s a fun project, I pulled the numbers matching motor about 2012 after building a nice 475 hp one for my ‘72, at the same time I rebuilt the original short block to stock specs and have had it stored since, then about a year ago I thought it would be kinda cool to roundup all the Stage 1 parts to complete it and maybe use it at some bigger shows as a display. I had the Stage1 Carb and intake and MT Scavengers and exhaust manifolds ( not sure which to use) already, and got Stage1 heads this spring at BG and the air cleaner, so with these parts I can finally put it all together. The only true Stage1 part I’m probably going to be missing is the Distributor simply not going to spend $1000+ just for a display motor and I doubt anyone has a non-functional one laying around they’ll be willing to give up!
I have also realized I need the throttle return spring hook that bolts to manifold( I have the spring), a PVC hose and valve for valve cover, maybe a grommet for brake booster hole, a thermostat housing, and the pre-heater base that bolts to the block drivers side that the hose goes to the air cleaner. If you have any of these you can spare that would be awesome!!!!
