Tech line coatings. I always coat the bearings with dry film with very good success. I used the dry film on the skirts and ceramic on the piston tops of my nitrous motor. Be careful on the thickness as it tends to flake when it is put on too thick. You will want about an extra .0005 on the rods and mains before coating for build up, in my experience. This is an easy process for almost anyone, just follow directions.

Do you have to prep the pistons like Glass bead then or something else?

    I you Coating P bearings or H-bearings?

Or you do not need to Run H-bearing if you are coating Bearing's?

The pistons need to be sand blasted with fine sand, you need to protect the ring lands, no blasting or coating in that area. I always used standard P bearings with no problem. The bearings need to be prepped with scotchbrite before the coating and everything needs to be very clean, acetone works well for cleaning.

A quart of each would last a normal person a lifetime. I think the dry film was a 4 ounce bottle and did several engines before it dried out, I don't remember what size the ceramic was but also small did pistons for 3-4 engines with some material left over. I would buy smaller bottles to avoid waste due to drying out over time, the bottles were just plastic bottles with screw caps that didn't seal completely. I made a mistake earlier on the bearings, they were just standard clevite or michigan 77 rod and mains and TA hardened cam bearings. The cam bearings are offered with coating directly from TA last I heard, I have not used their coating so can't give a recomendation on them.
