Looking for info. on the emission label on the rad. cover 1972 stage 1. What is the right code in the upper left corner, I have a picture of a unretored 72 that call for BG, but all i can find from the vendors is a BH which is the right one. Thank you Dan

Dan, According to the 72 assembly manual the codes are as follows; "BG" 455 Stage 1, less Calif. "BH" 455 Stage 1 Calif only Duane PS. If you buy an assembly manual you will find all kinds of info.
The original 71 Stage-1 stickers was BG as well although different from 72. It DID NOT say Stage-1 on it as I have my original. The reproductions do have Stage-1 for 71 but is incorrect so the only way you can be sure they say Stage-1 on them is find an original.
