This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

4 way flashers did not become standard until the 1967 model year, so your 65 did not have them from the factory. At one time, there were companies that did market an adaptor to make regular turn signals into 4 way flashers. As you can imagine, if they are still in business they have moved onto other products, as 4 way flashers have been standard on every car sold in the US for over 35 years. There may be some out there...somewhere.

    Maybe try JC Whitney?

  3. I've seen GM NOS four way flasher kits show up on eBay from time to time. Problem is these kits seem to fit a bunch of GM cars from 63 to 70ish, which leads to a huge number of bidders. I had the high-bidder of one send me a copy of the schematic once, and it seemed easy to make, but a home-built kit would cut original wires, wereas the GM kit was a plug-in jobby.

Four way flashers are great, but my 1964 doesn't have them. I just carry two road cones and a triangle. I know it's not good for a situation where you cannot leave the car, but I don't drive it enough to warrant heavy thinking on the matter.

GM did use the 4 way flashers on 65-66 models,it might`ve been dealer installed on `65 and factory option on `66 but you can get an NOS one from www.Buickfarm.com dont bother with ebay cause they go for more $$ and they are used, and they come with instructions and is very easy to install.

    Thanks

  5. I found out Signal Stat made all of them for General Motors and Ford Motor Company. I went to signalstat.com and all they do now is safety lighting for trucks.
