Bill, Thanks for the pics. That's a different animal compared to the units I've taken from other cars. Yours is much smaller. Mine are two piece, mounted either side of the inside trunk panel. I had to drill a 5/8' hole thru the panel so the arm from the solenoid could turn the mechanical latch mechanism. Mounted the buttom under the dash, drivers' side, just right of the brake release handle. The buttons on the other cars were not suited to mounting in the dash of my Skylark.
