Just waiting to be sure it will work for this head. To me it looks correct. Just want to be sure. The last few I looked at were wrong.
    Maybe someone can chime in.

John, that the correct stage 2 Edelbrock Holley, flange intake. There is no exhaust crossover in the stage 2 heads. Intake side is the same as a standard 455 head. Here’s a picture of mine with the correct Carburetor. 4D4F3258-FFA6-4861-8957-0F464E6F390D.jpeg 593173FE-9E35-4FC0-AFBB-6358B4E3A516.jpeg 4BF3C93B-8F9A-4178-9CB8-D46B99433CD8.jpeg E8075311-C856-4F9B-9211-F741C197AAE7.jpeg

That square slot between the intake ports is a blind hole in the early heads. I'm not sure why its there, maybe to aid in the casting process? Either way it doesn't need to be blocked/covered.

Thanks for that information, I was wondering what to do to solve that on my Stage 2 heads, now I know!
