If this were me--and I recognize that it isn't--I'd gas-or-arc some filler metal onto those teeth, file 'em back down to shape, and do it on-the-car in half the time it takes to pull the flexplate off and replace it. It would also cost almost nothing if you do your own welding--or a couple of six-packs for the guy at the exhaust shop to weld 'em. I'd never buy a Communist Chinese "Quality is optional, and not included at the current price" flexplate if I could easily salvage a couple o' teeth on the high-quality piece that's already in the car.
