Re: EAST COAST BUICK REGIONALS & MAGNA CAR SHOW! - CECIL COUNTY Sept. 19th and 20th 2 Something I've been wondering for a few years now is why are the non Super 16 brackets still broken up into V6 and V8? It seems to me the whole thing would be better served to break it down into two time brackets the way most races are run. If need be the time split can be adjusted to balance the amount of cars in each bracket. This would keep the competing cars more closely aligned time wise. A guy with a stock Electra doesn't have to run a much faster GS or a FWD car doesn't have to run a fast GN. I know one of the reasons given back in the day was the V6 guys always needed more time to line up than the V8 guys. I'm pretty sure if the fastest V6 cars can line up in a timely manner in the Super 16 class then the slower ones should be able to do the same in a slower bracket. Anybody else have some thoughts on this?
