I run their mini alt,not much bigger or heavier then the ultra.I had it upgraded to put out over 100 amps, solved all my electrical issues.I run electric water, fuel, and dual fans, msd.Just mak sure you run welding cable from the batt. to your alt.

I tried running the mini. My car has Elec. fuel pump, water pump, fan and a msd digital 7, and an extra large yellow top glass mat battery. The car was charged between every run.

The mini alt would not charge enough and after 3 or 4 runs the car would stall after the burn out when the rpms came down. After 6 runs one time I had the car die in the traps when I let off to tighten up with the other racer. I found no problems with any componet in my car. I changed to the 120 amp small alt they have, and all issues were solved.

The Digital 7 pulls alot of current as the rpm's rise.
