So i bid on these,$30.My bid shows as $20,i'm the only bidder,no reserve. The guy emails me he has a bunch of parts from his long gone '65 'vert,so i tell him what i'm after, being VERY specific about the parts & condition wanted. He sends me pics of complete junk, and parts i had no use for,so i tell him thanks but nothing i'm after. Then he mails me back that my $20 bid wont buy the emblems i'm bidding on...so i tell him i will go quite higher if nessasary.I log on today & the ass cancelled my bid & ended the auction!! I dont understand why he didnt do a reserveou: I think he bumped it because i wasnt interested in his JUNK! http://offer.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=230340638849
Morons on ebay. Jamie I have a set here that are real good and have another on their way. I'll let you know which of the 2 sets are the best.
Jamie, it really isn't eBay's fault-- it just makes it easier to find the jackass. I'm confident he was a jackass before eBay and is a jackass in person too.
why do people waste their time canceling bids for no reason? guy most not be very social and have alot of time on his hands :Brow:
I had a bid rejected because I'm Canadian. I e-mailed the vendor explaining my feed back is 100% positive & I could pay immediately using a number of methods. He replied under no circumstances would he even accept a bid from Canada, too much trouble in the past. I was able to have a member here bid on my behalf & send it to me. Not a large $$ amount, part was $ 10.00.
I WAS a long time e-Bay and PayPal user. Hundreds of buyer and seller transactions with 100% feedback. I got screwed a few times by bad sellers, and e-Bay would not do anything to rectify the problems. So, I voted with my feet and cancelled both accounts. F them.
