SP1 intake and long tube headers. For ease of flat tappet cam break in, inner springs on the 1125 springs were removed. Ran a points distributor limited with 17 degrees of advance so idle advance can be 15-17 btdc cam break in was successful, here are the dyno results. The pulls were limited to 5100 rpm as the points started to falter on my Sun distributor machine over 5200. So there may be a few more ponies in her at slightly higher rpm. For a conservative flat tappet, looks pretty good.

looks like a strong runner! The torque is very impressive! Yeah, I would be willing to bet if you had a solid firing ignition, and wound it out a few hundred RPM more, it would have scored 500 HP. But, no matter, the torque is there and it will be a blast to drive.

Looks like the afr was getting a bit lean as well. The dyno guy was running his Holley carb. A 750 cam unit.
