What kind of issues will I have installing a factory dual quad on my 63 Wildcat. Will I have to move my power steering unit? I will be using an after market air cleaner/cleaners. I have upgraded to a 65 switch pitch TH400, and installed a HEI dizzy.
    Thanks for any info.

Congrats. There is a lot of discussion on the forum about this, and a lot of guys who know more about it than me. But, I did it to my '62 and I can tell you will not have to move the power steering pump if you are not using the factory Super Wildcat dual snorkel air cleaner. If you are or intend to use it, you will need a side mount power steering pump bracket. I do not know if '63 was a center or side mount, '62 is a center and I simply bought a side mount bracket from one of the guys here. If you don't have fuel lines, you should be able to buy them on this forum, put an ad in parts needed.

Thanks thats great! I am trying to figure out how to make the linkage now. If it's to much work I might go with Edelbrocks progressive linkage. I think I can make the fuel lines.

Sounds like a fun project. Maybe I'll get to see your car some time, I get through Hudson from time to time.

I've seen a lot of the parts you need on eBay. linkage, air cleaner etc.

You'll have to customize the trans kickdown bracket and switch if you don't have a correct original.

Fuel lines are repo'd and available from WildBill.
Linkage is also repo'd, avail on eBay or one of the members on 65gs.com.
Aftermarket linkage is recommended for aftermarket carbs.

I forgot about the switch pitch/kickdown bracket. I have been unable to locate a correct primary carb so I am using a 3921s because it looks just like the correct one except the lever for 2x4 linkage witch I added.

Which year intake are you using the 64 or the 65/66? The mounting bosses for the kickdown bracket are different.

He's right, I forgot about that. Hopefully you have 65/55, easier to find those but still not easy.

DualQuadDave had a few for each year, check with him.

That's a 65/66 intake, hopefully you have the correct rear carb or correct linkage. Now to find the kickdown bracket and switch.

Does someone have a picture of the bracket installed? I am going to fab one up. I need to know the distance from first bolt hole to the pin hole that holds the switch.
    Thank you

Dick Sweeney is/was selling repopped ones for 65/66. I think he's on this board as Rivsrus or something similar. If you need a 64 one I probably have one.

What size are the fuel lines on the dual quad? Can't seem to find it anywhere. I know someone repops them here but I would like to try to make them.
    Thanks

Wild Bill aka Topcat here is the one that repopped them. I have a set on my car.
