Made the trip to Milan today and went the fastest I have gone to date.... 1.29 60ft 5.99 @114+ in the 1/8 9.45 @141+ Weight after each run was 3375lb and run through mufflers. I'm happy after being out for two to come back and set PB's It was also nice to see some of the other Buick guys that came out today. Now the winter will be a little less depressing for me
Great time! Was nice to see ya gain new PB's...plus to see your car was impressive...the layout and execution of the engine bay is done right...the front motor plate..and all the pulleys..n stuff...way above my head...nice running! :TU:
Gary, Congrates on the PB, it looked great doing it also! :TU: Got that list of "little winter projects" started yet? ou:
Congrats Gary, you don't know how happy I am to see you out there racing on top of a best ET. Your car looks great as usual. Great job all the way around :TU: Chris
Congratulations Gary!!!!1 I'm glad you're back and running strong. Winter isn't here yet.....it's suppose to be Indian Summer this week... p Lon
Gary That car was flying you sure can be happy going into winter. I wish we would have remembered the lap top kind of screws ya when your car ing. curve counts on it. we did go 1.30 sixty on street tires though just no top end. congrates again.
Here's a photo..... http://motorcitynationals.com/v-web/gallery/albums/album202/DOC6613.jpg They always have video of the Heads-Up events at Milan so I will give you guys a link when I they have that up. Way To Go Gary, Bob, and Crews.... Gary, I'm glad to see that all the hard work is finally paying off.....Great Job !!!! Bob, How in the world did you leave your laptop at home ou: You need one of those fancy Turbo V6 laptop holders in your car so you don't forget it
5.99 in the 1/8 too......... :Brow: I think the car is about .15 or so quicker than before so I would say low 9.70's in the worst conditions.
We were about an hour from home and I Jokingly ask did you remember the lab top and it was quit for a moment and Jeff said no I left it at home. We ran a best of a 9.22 @137 so it was way off on top but I have so much timing pulled out of it up there it was no surprise to me. it was off 4 MPH in the eight to so it was just not happy in the cold it most likly wanted more jet and a bunch of timing but thats life. Gary was rockin if he had not rattled the tires on that 9.45 pass it might have been realy close to a 30 pass.
Congrats Gary, got that beast moving, I wanted to come but woke up to a flat tire on the grand prix. and nowhere around here to get it fixed. one of the small problems with moving to the country. Who runs the big bad buick these days??
Way to go Gary K. great job in getting that "cut up " Buick running down the track! your efforts are your rewards!! well done, Next year?? LOOK out!! Bruce
Excellent running Gary. SUPER high pressure air helped I'm sure. :TU: I tried to run in the good air at the local slip-and-slide track and only ran 9.86 138 spinning and swerving off the line. 1.46 60 ft vs 1.32 usual/expected. My tires are the same ones that were on when I blew the motor at Quaker last year, so that and soaking in oil all last winter may have contributed. ou:
