I am starting a new project. A 70 big block skylark. I want to drop it one inch all the way around............at least i think i do. I was going through the opg catalogue and saw the one, two and three inch drop springs. Anyone used these yet? or know of someone who has? Is one inch a noticeable enough drop to make it handle better along with all the right suspension parts? I don't mind being redirected to another spring company. Any help in this is well appreciated. I am taking the frame to sandblast next week and need to get these springs ordered.
    Thanx,

I have the 2 inch drop front springs in my 69 from OPGI and I couldn't be happier with them.

How did you drop the back then? Are the springs rated for the big block? In the cat. they do not specify that, and if they ask you at the time or ordering if you have a small block or big block? I want the stance to be correct, or even might be a better term all the way around. Just looking for feedback with these particular springs.

I can't remember if they asked when I ordered, it has been several years now. I have a big block, IIRC it dropped it around 1.5 - 1.75 inches. I didn't want mine to be even, I wanted a little rake. I didn't lower the back as the stance was perfect after doing the front, but I had 110k miles springs, so they are probably an inch or so lower than stock. I am thinking about getting a 1 inch drop for the back now.
