Just wanted to pass this along for anyone else in the same situation. I was changing the light bulb in the rear light for a 1967 riv. the lens cover was brittle and i put my finger through it. I thought this would be tough to find but i located an exact GM replica from summit Racing and it was cheap. 3.97 per lens. I ordered 2 and paid the shipping so around 12 bucks i got both to replace. Wanted to say they look identical even though on there website they didnt say they would fit the riv. They were much cheaper than other places. Hope this helps. Im posting the link below so you can see what it looks like.

. . . nice find, you can also order them from the GM stealer for about the same price. They fit all Riviera '63 - '70 !! :TU:

Great find, although the sail panel lens' in my '68 have the tri-shield emblem molded in them. The picture in the Summit link does not appear to?

TA might have them if you have a catalog laying around.

'68 Riviera sail panel lamp lenses were flat, plain white Dan, without any embossing. The ones you have are probably from a Skylark, GS, or some other Buick model. :Do No:

Are you 100% sure Randy? The only reason I ask is while I'll admit to not knowing the car's complete history, from everything I've researched my car's interior is 100% original and unmolested. The sail panel light lenses are a bit yellowed, so they have been in the car long, long time. I can tell you my car is an early build '68 (Sept. 1967), and it has the rigid door pulls in lieu of the more common straps.

Not that I'm losing sleep over it, I just find these little nuances interesting.

Interesting for sure Dan, and not that it really matters, but it does leave one wondering? :puzzled:
Almost 99.9% sure that all the Rivs from '63 up to '68, that I've seen, had the flat, white, 3 tab lenses, but strange things can and do happen on an assembly line Dan !!
According to an older Cars Inc. printed catalogue I have, the Buick tri-shield embossed, sail panel lenses were used in the '69 Wildcats and Electras. (Part# CL69R).
So that may explain where yours came from, for reasons unknown ? :Do No:

My '70 has trishield lenses and I have no reason to believe they aren't original to the car. But there is always that chance.
The '66 I owned did not, but I am almost certain had concentric circles molded in them, which is what I remember all 60's - 70's GM cars I owned having.
The plain ones sold after market always looked generic to me.

According to the same Cars Inc. catalogue - the concentric circle variety lenses are '69 - '74 'full size' Buick Dale, but we all know that doesn't mean it's gospel !!
They were probably used in other GM cars, and some of these lenses were also 4 tab, vs. the 3 tab Riviera variety too. :TU:

I forgot about different number of tabs on each.
