Does a rotten 70-72 GS dash have ANY value?

I just put a new (new to me anyways) dash in the 70GS this afternoon and was about to toss the old dry rotten cracked dash in the dumpster when I though maybe I should ask the question first.

Does anyone recover them? The plastic isn't broke anywhere, but the vinyl and padding is completely cracked and wasted. It also has some "curves" in it. (It's bowed)
Are the clips and stuff useful to anyone?

I don't want anything for it. But if the "core" might be useful (although I can't see how) I'd gladly give it to anyone who wants it. Shipping will be somewhat costly.
Trash pickup is Tuesday morning..... if anyone wants it, let me know before then.

Just dashes can recover them, but they do need the core...they are very expensive though, but perhaps they would be willing to pay some $$$ for a core? Never know.....

I don't want any $$ for it. I'd just hate to throw it away, and then find out someone wanted one. :Dou:

But at the same time... I'm not going to put any effort into finding it a new home (At least not any more effort than starting this thread)
The reason I always end up working on our cars is this:
I've bought all kinds of parts for all the cars, and the only way I can ever get any more room in my garage is by actually INSTALLING some of the stuff, basically to get it out of the garage.
So basically.... I'm not going to hang on to this dash any longer than I have to... I need the space!
