There is currently a 63 Skylark for sell on Yahoo Classifieds. The seller does not own this car. If you send them your $$$ it is the last you will see of it. The car was originally sold on ebay a month ago where the information was taken from. I just recieved a third email from this person and thought you may all get a good laugh at this. I had requested their phone # so that I could call and discuss opayment and shipping. I have no intentions of giving them one dime but I'd like to see if I can get any information that I can hand over to the authorities. Here is what they wrote back; Dear sir the shipping will be made by me If i will know for sure that you will became the buyer and you will send me the shipping cost i will send you my cell number imediatly so we can discuss Thanks So let me get this straight, I send you $999, the price quoted on shipping even thuogh they have no idea where I want the car shipped to, and in return I get your phone #. I think I'm going to write back asking for an adress to send the check to.

It MIGHT be worth it to get an address, and send a "note" in the mail to the PO Box or where ever, and then give the proper Authorities the information. Well, I asked for an adress to send out a check and never got a reply. Too bad too, I really liked that car. Unfortunately, I never saw the car on ebay as my server blocks it where I am at and had to ask around before finding out it had been. I sincerely hope nobody fell for this.
Hi, I had a 70 4dr skylark on a free add. Was contacted by emailt hat they would purchase car for $1500.They said a transport driver was coming for car. The person called his self Sara Jones . He made contact with my wife by email and told her CASHIERS CHECK would be here friday. Friday came and there was a check for$7500. My wife emailed him and asked about check . He told her he made a mistake . To go ahead cash check and western union the $6000, back to them in Nigeria . I was in NY working, but I live in TX. Lucky for me my wife called Bank to verify funds and found out check was stolen . She went to police and an investigator turned it over to FBI .The FBI said since it was in Nigeria there hands were tied, because there is not a Police Task Force in Nigeria. The Sara Jones person (definately NOT a Woman) called and asked why money was not sent . Wife told them she knew check was bad and had contacted FBI she hung up on them . The person called weeks later and asked about money again. She gave them a piece of her mind . Thank god for good wives. Thanks, Barry Nix
