    StrokedBuick Got Cubic Inch??

I have a V6 HEI Distributor off a Buick Skyhawk

    and a

Buick 350 Points in my 72 Skylark.

Can I change the cap, rotor, and HEI Part around the Shaft of distributor to V8 parts and it will work...

Its a 4 pin HEI Module if that helps at all??

    Hi DJ.

As is so often the case on this board 'ignitionman' is your best bet for answers relating to Distributors. He builds and markets his own small body HEI distributors and I'd bet that he could answer your queries.

His website address is http://www.davessmallbodyheis.com and his email address is sparkman451@earthlink.net or you could send him a direct personal message from this board.

Yeah I figured I'd throw it out there. Cause i know he reads the site and I'm not in that big of a hurry.

    Michael Evans a new project

    distrubitor

While my experience is nowhere near as extensive as "Ignitionman"s, I can tell you that the V6 distrubitor wil not work in your 350.

The V6 distrubitor's pickup is for six cylinders and the 350 needs an eight pickup.

The pickup inside the distrubitor tells the moldule to fire the coil to make a long explantion short.

    ...

Yeah thats what I ment. I'm gonna try and get a pickup off an HEI Chevy distributor. So that the shaft will send its normal signal but will have a V8 pickup mounted to the housing. I gotta PM IgnitionMan guess he doesn't read it as often as I thought. Thanks for the inpu.
