Where is a good source for a distributor recurve kit? The local NAPA guys looked at me as if I had a disease! Then they looked in their catalog and only found one for a HEI. I have a 67 with the original points system converted to a Pertronix system. The closest Advance Auto did not know of one. I guess if I had a rice rocket they could sell me the store.
La Marr, Mr Gasket Summit part # MRG-925A . $9.50 Sure is hard to find a good parts guy anymore. My NAPA guys are really good.... lots of gray hair.
Lamarr, The best advance curve kit I have ever used comes with the Crane adjustable vacuum advance. It comes with 3 sets of springs that are ideal. Lets you get all your advance in as early as 1600 RPM, and as late as 3200, and everything in between. You'll also need the adjustable vacuum advance unit, if you want to run one(every street car should) with the faster mechanical advance rate. For points distributor, Jegs part # 270-99601-1
E/mail me for instructions on how to correctly mount the stop plate for the Crane vacuum advance. sparkman451@earthlink.net sparkman451@dslextreme.com
Thanks for all the help. I have ordered the parts. They were on back order from Summit but in stock with Jegs. Ignitionman, I have sent you an e-mail.  :beer
