  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     What would be the recommended grease for in the reservoir of the top distributor bushing ?

    Was looking around on the internet and from what I found basically any wheel bearing grease will do.

    I would have thought wheel bearing grease wouldn't wick through the holes for the bushing being how thick and high temp it is. But at the same time many have run for many years with nothing there at all.

    Yes I agree and also felt the same way on the grease but then I read an article about it being all wishful thinking on the design. That it gets it lubrication from oil mist in the air. After seeing how mine was still filled to the top with grease and had never been serviced I had to agree with article . And if I wasn’t doing an engine rebuild I wouldn’t have serviced it either, Lol.
    I’m sure your recommendation would have been a better choice but I just ended up using what I had.

    I had a new one but it didn’t fit like almost every other reproduced part you buy , so I did end up using the original one as it was still in decent condition.
