Well a friend got the brackets somewhere at a swap meet from a guy and never used them so I took them and did what he never did. Assemble something and see if it would work. The Drum brake hub edge was turned on a lathe to fit inside the Trans am/ camaro rotor then you take the drum brake stuff off and bolt it together and change out the studs on the drum hub as the studs will be too short to reach thru everything. I never got to that part as once I tried to mount up a wheel the brake caliper is too big and wont allow the rally wheel fit without rubbing. Thus I figured either aftermarket or custom wheels will need to be bought.

I will get a picture of what I made tomarrow to show it.

Also I have to say you can buy all the parts to do this but the core charge is stiff . You can buy the caliper like I got borrowed from most salvage yards for $50 or so. The reman ones are cheap but the core charge hurts.

I bought used disc brake spindles with backing plates for $100, new Bendix stuffed calipers and rotors for $225 and hoses for $30. Bearings were $50. Essentially a new set up for $400. Rotors were cheapest at Summit. About $30 per rotor cheaper than Advance for same Bendix P/N.

Here are the pictures of the set up. Note that the wheel hits the caliper.

Cool. Sorry for the noob question, but how difficult are those things to set?

I have just a couple sets of brackets extra if anyone wants a pair. The set up isnt too hard to buy from the salvage yard but the wheel clearance is the issue. You will have to have aftermarket wheels

If you want a pair the brackets are $20 shipped thanks
