I know it is not Buick but it is GM and related. Customer just bought a 403 Trans Am. Prior owner added a Demon carburetor that does not have a place to attach the TV/detent/kickdown cable. I found this: Demon 1952 GM Throttle Cable Adapter Lever (holley.com) Has anyone used this or have other options? Transmission is leaking where the cable goes in and what is the fun of driving a car that won't down shift? TIA
How about attaching it to the gas pedal as Buick did? The cable uses an O ring seal at the transmission.
