    Car is a 1970 GS455.

    Vin: 44637OH196754.

    Body Tag:

    ST70 44637FL1 120483 BDY
    TR 189 68-F PNT
    12A

What is the original paint and interior color.

Right now it is Brown with Matching Brown vinyl top and brown bucket interior.

Is this original paint color, interior and vinyl or at least close?

    Thanks,

Looking in the books for '70, 189 is the trim number for burnished saddle with bucket seats and 68 is the paint code for burnished saddle exterior.

To add to what Ken posted -

Paint code (68 - F) is Burnished Saddle exterior (68) with a brown vinyl top (F).

    Marlon -
Having a 12A car (1st week December 1969 assembled), can you please answer a couple questions if your car still has the original equipment?

Do you have pointed or flat lenses?
Does your radiator overflow jug have a clear or black lid?
Is your radiator cover plastic or metal?
If a console shift car, is the shifter woodgrain or black?
Does your interior lights have a 'con-centric' pattern or tri-shield pattern?

    Thanks!

    Marco,

    Pointed lenses.
    Clear cover on overflow.
    Metal radiator cover.
    Woodgrain shifter handle.

Will look at the interior courtesy light covers tonight and get back to you.

My car was built in Flint. It is/supposed to be a stage car. It has BB code tranny and number matching block but I can't find the SS code.

It has the cross braces near the front radiator, suppose to indicate BB car. Has 10 bolt posi/limited slip. No gauges and clock.

I think I'm going to pay the sloan thing and verify it as best I can.

I'll post again on the lenses.

    Thanks Marlon!

Your VIN may be able to 'squeak' in below Sloan's cut-off.

If it is a factory Stage1, please consider registering it.

Also, thanks for for the information, as I'm trying to determine when in December 1969 Buick began phasing out some early 1970 model year parts.

    Thanks again!
