    It says:

1970 Gran Sport 350 built at the Fremont,Ca. assembly plant
with a Green vinyl notch back interior and Sea Mist Green upper
and lower exterior body color. Also indicates Roof Drip Moldings
and assembled the 3rd week of March 1970.

Vin states its a Buick Gran Sport 350 platform built in 1970 at Fremont.

Thank you for your response. I'm very grateful to you. Turns out the car is everything it is supposed to be. I'm going to look at it on Tuesday and see if it follows me home.

    Jim, it's not a myth, it's a fact.

Jim, I'm not sure I'm of much help. The car I looked at has a charcoal can in the engine compartment. I'm assuming it's there because of its California manufacture. Maybe someone else can chime in about the presence of the charcoal can in a '70 GS 350. I didn't notice anything like capped lines in front of the rear end.
