does anyone know where to get the bracket for the dashpot?the one that bolts to the intake manifold?71 455 stage 1
You might also try looking for an idle solenoid bracket. The factory changed over from dashpots to idle solenoids in '71. Solenoids are available occasionally & easy to hook up. I scanned the for sale ads here. Also looked at Buick engine parts on E-Bay. Asked a few vendors if they still had the bracket. Most aren't being used anymore, people more than happy to give it to you. '71 is a little different from a '72 on a 350, not sure about the 455.
dash pots i have a couple of the 72 solenoids,but im trying to be 71 correct,the intake that i havew only has one hole which means it used the dash pot.the solenoids were held on with two bolts,thanks for the help........ed
