courtesy lite

    my console for a 72 GS has a indenture in the rear panel for??? A courtesy lite??? Never seen one. Did 68-69 have lite in their rear panel??? Let me know. Than ks Ken

    I don't ever recall seeing any kind of light in any year console. My 72 Stage1 doesn't have it although it would have been a nice feature.

    I have seen them in 69 consoles.I thought one time I seen a light in a 72 car once,but it could have either been put in it or maybe even a 69 console...Been alot of beers ago,so I may be just making it up...lol

    Shudda had a light in there back in the day....then you would have been able to find your "Church Key" to open those beers ! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    Seeing that can opener reminds me of one i saw years ago.

    We were inventorying a decommissoned Navy ship -- hadn't been sailed since Nam -- and went through the lifeboat supplies.

    The lifeboats got ten or twenty 8-oz rusty steel cans of water, along with a can opener that was engraved "Beer is better". Nice touch, eh?

    console back end designed for a light like the chevelles but never implemented.
