Came across a Buick parts car on the weekend

2 things about the car I want to pick your brains on.

The owner says it has Corvette rims on it, they are the Chev rally wheel type, is there any easy way to tell if there Corvette rims or not.

It didn't have the original bucket seats, they looked to be a 66 or 67 GM style, no release button, formed stamped steel back. I know Buick 64, 65, were an all fabric / vinal bucket seat, 68 to 72 Buick had a plastic formed back with release button. These looked to be out of a Olds.

    Thanks Bruce

Bruce, there are many chevy rallies out there and as many people call them Corvette rims. One dead give away is the fact that the Vette rims are 15x8 and some others from other cars are 15x7 or even 14 inches in diameter.I don't know the actual codes on the rims to verify where they originated but if they are 15x8 that would be a good indication that they may be,in fact, from a Vette.Keep in mind that there are many reproductions of these wheels as well.Real Vette rallies sell very well at the swapmeets from what I've seen.
