Copper Head gaskets

I already asked about Reusing them, can I reuse them on a totally different block?? Does it matter, reusing them is reusing them, right!?? I know that the block I'd like to use them on is a different year than the one the coppers came off of, the water passages on the old were round, this other one they are oval. Just trying to get something back together.

One thing I forgot to mention was that the old block was O-ringed, and then new is not.

I wouldn't without O-ringing the new block....and even then the grooves will have to be dead-on to match the used gaskets. Go with the Cometics!:TU:

 

Why Cometic over the "Orange Crush" from TA?? Cometics are like twice the price of the Oranges..........
