Lets see some pics and info on some sweet cars with sweet paint jobs wheels suspension! Make me buy this 1970 Skylark Convertible that im looking at!
The problem that you have with your request is that most of the people on this board are into a more stock looking kind of car. I am planning on a more hot rod look for my 64, but I'm a couple years away from new paint. I'm going to address the brakes, suspension and engine transmission first, in that order. I want a street rod look myself for the 64, but it's all a matter of taste.
Sounds like you're looking for something along the lines of a pro-touring car...very few skylarks out there, especially of the convertible flavor. That'is one of the reasons I decided to build one. Mines still apart though so the pics won't do much...just close your eyes and imagine though! Also, as previously mentioned, not much of that style going on here, you should check out www.pro-touring.com or www.lateral-g.net.
Heres my Tricked out 70 GS convertible The bottom looks even better than the top. I dig concours cars but this one is my favorite
