I need to order a 1968-72 Buick Skylark/GS 400-455 big block Z-bar and for once I have the car ready for the part, the money ready for Mr. Dave Kleiner, but, alas, no way to reach him. Dave. DAVE! These parts are done right for our Buicks, not offshore or "close but not so close" Chevy stuff. It is Dave himself doing these parts .... need I say more. All parts are 68-72 Buick Big Block with the exception of the lower clutch rod and clevis clutch fork which were a 69-72 release. Dave indicated that the Buick 350 4-speed setup can use this Z-bar with a 455 ball stud on engine. 350 upper clutch rod is shorter but he may get some made up if demand is there. Dave is a very congenial fellow and we discussed the Buick scene, the parts providers like OPGI and YearOne, and the Z-bars in stock that he has. He's out shopping right now, 2:25 p.m. Central time on Friday, September 3, 2009, but will be at his shop in about three hours. Leave a message -- he will be running some noisy machinery my friend.
