Looking to see what interest i can get from this before i put the motor back in the car. Trying to sell in order to fund a fuel injected setup. motor at machine shop just freshened up, new rings and bearings. ta sp1 intake 1968 430 heads- gasket matched 250 int, 200 exh, stg1 valves and dual springs 1975 block with half fill, all oil mods done to block and cover ta 288-08h cam and hyd. lifters speed pro/federal mogul forged -22cc pistons with plasma-chrome moly rings ta sportsman rods stock crank 20/20 poston deep sump girdled pan arp head and main studs motor will include 1 7/8 headers, distributor, flywheel, balancer, plug wires,...basically everything needed to drop in and go. msd 6al box and coil. $4000 for everything will not break up. If you have any more questions just ask as im sure i skipped over something. Also selling th400 if motor goes. If buyer of motor wants trans it will be $400, if another buyer $500. BOP case, only only about 6 or 7 months used, b&m full manual reverse valve body.
also, trans will have the tci built tc with it. 2800 flash, anti balloon plate etc. built to hande the 800hp for the procharged motor Engine will also have all the bracets, pulleys, and 140 amp alt.
This is the same motor that my procharger was on and the turbos were going to go on. Everything is just freshened up, new rings and all bearings. On motor it made 443hp and 560tq with 34 degrees of timing and 9.4 compression.
I don't think you can build a motor for this kind of money. If you are looking to build a regal or got a GS here is a fun motor. I would buy this,but no job=no money.
Sorry I'm not in the market, but I was curious- what does the 1/2 fill do for heat/regular street use?? Robert
