George - you RULE :beer I've been trying to justify www.espo.com giving me 5450 springs for my GS and you article listed has finally put my 'internal' debate to rest. Thanks! :TU: PS - I never found the factory spring rates in my 1970 chassis manual. Does anyone have any Buick Documentation' that lists the engineering specifications for the 1970 'A' bodies?
kanter, kanter, kanter, kanter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1adam12,i got the springs for my 65 from kanter, they have tons of suspension stuff...prices are good also.
I'm looking for different front springs for my 67 GS400. I have new ones in the car, but the car is sitting about 1 1/2" lower than it should. Looking at all of the information in this thread and George's info it seems the Moog 5450 is the way to go. However, will this spring fit a '67?? Walt, how did your spring project work out and what did you finally decide on? Thanks Harvey
I changed my front springs this morning. Here is a picture with Moog 5450's on the front. It sits perfectly for my liking. Harvey
I like Performance Suspension in Phoenix. Talk to them directly with your wants / needs. They set me up perfectly!
