When I release the clutch in one of the cars, the whole car shakes particularly the hood and front. The car has a new rear end, u-bolts, rebuilt 4spd trans, and I think a new clutch but not sure What could be causing it? Is there a simple clutch adjustment to do, and if so how?

The bellhousing is missing a bolt but hopefully that's not it.

Sounds like the clutch is chattering. It might have gotten hot at one time and not it has spots ont he flywheel that make it do that. To fix it the fly wheel may need to be surfaced. (time for a centerforce clutch!)

Mike's right, they chatter when they are worn or abused, trust me I know:Smarty:
What gears are you running? 2.20 first gear and low numerical gears are a real killer on clutches. 3.90s cured my chattering problem!:3gears:
The centerforce clutch is a great unit as well.

Maybe a broke spring in the clutch assembly.
Or some small pieces broken out of the clutch pads (if it got hot).
