chevy clutch

    Can i put a chevy clutch behind a buick 455. Probably a dumd question but if ya dont ask ya dont know.

    I only ask because i have a brand new chevy clutch and preasure plate

    Yep, as long as you have the right diameter for the Buick Flywheel.

    If im not mistaken it should be 11 inches correct?

    Will the preasure plate bolt pattern be the same.

    Sorry to ask but i dont have my 305 pulled out. Waiting on my adapter to bolt it to the muncie

    Its been awhile since we did ours, so I cant rem what size clutch the 305 had. We put a good ram 11" clutch in ours. I wish I could rem what the 305 had. I swear it was 11" as well

    BBB is 11", SBB is 10.5". Also make sure the number of splines in the disc matches the input shaft of the tranny
