I know you may think this is weird but I am looking for a set of chevy nascar valve covers that have buick on them. My uncle wants them and x mas will be here soon. Thanks Doug
I think you mean the valve cover for the Buick Stage 2 heads that were made in the 80s to fit the SBC. Parts for these are getting a little hard to find, you may want to check the ads in National Dragster, or Racing Junk. Jim J.
Contact Wegner Automotive, they may be able to help as they were involved in the development of the Chevy/Buick head. Brodix cylinder heads in Mena, Arkansas may have done the head and valve cover castings. http://www.wegnerautomotive2.com/index.htm http://www.brodix.com/
Sorry, just realized it was Dart that cast the cylinder heads for the Chevy/Buick. Wegner was involved and Brodix was not. http://www.teambuick.com/reference/library/hybrid_head.php
If you plan to put the valve covers on a big block Chevy engine, I don't think the bolt pattern is the same, it is exclusive to the Dart/Buick cylinder head.
