Hello again everyone. I just picked up a Fluidyne oil cooler and remote filter mount in -12an and -12 lines and fittings. Also am about to get a Hamburger's Performance oil filter adapter also in -12an.

The way the cooler and mount will be set up, all of the oil in the cooler and filter will stay in the cooler and filter when the motor is not running, so only what is in the line(s) could drain back.

So question is, do I need check valve(s)? Check valves in -12an are $122 ea and if not having them is no big deal, I'd rather not have to get any.

    Thanks!!!
