A few years ago I added C5/C6 style spindles and Timken hubs to my '64 Skylark. The hubs have 12x1.5 metric wheel studs. I'd like to change the rear axle 7/16-20 studs over to the same just in case the lug nuts were ever mixed up with the wheels off. The existing Moser studs have a .480 knurl and the Moser replacements have a .505 knurl. Will the .505's press into the existing holes or will I have to ream them out to say .500? If so is this a job a decent machine shop should be able to do? My local, very reputable, gear shop does not do that kind of work (drilling/reaming).

I would leave it. If anything, take the existing hole and tap it for 1/2” screw-in studs.
I had front B-body rotors that had those metric studs. That’s what I did to those.
Or,can you can a 7/16” stud to press into the rotor? Pretty sure they have one with that knurl size.

Napa has a lug nut and stud book that. Lists by size, then knurl and finally length. This is hw find studs for guys who bring one in from a trailer or a car wanting longer studs.
