Yes this goes to show that even without decking the block people can still raise the compression and increase the performance without messing with the bottom end.
It runs on premium fuel ok? Or do you have something else? I believe my setup is close to your engine but with a310 cam. I'm thinking of pulling heads back off to mill another .030 off and larger valves.
I run it with premium fuel just fine, no pinging at all. For grins though I'll throw in some 110 octane and have some fun and enjoy the smell
