The tune up I've been kindof busy lately doing parts farming and attending the Girlfriend :eek2: , finally drove the Centurion Friday night. The thing bogged, coughed, backfired when cold or opening the throttle- Like I said before, it needed a tune up bad! IT WOULD NOT LIGHT UP THE TIRES! Dude, where is my TORQUE? So I throw the timing light on it and its like 12 degrees RETARDED, so after a 2 minute adjustment the car feels like a different beast altogether! I took it for a ride to lunch, tires sqeal, great! Got back and fine tuned it with proper vacuum lines blocked and so on. I GOT MY TORQUE! sweet. Changed the leaky stiff original vacuum lines, polished up the air cleaner, getting some tire squealing enjoyment out of it now. Gotta go! :3gears:
Sounds like my car when I finally got it in Feb 2003.. First thing I did was go into the parking lots and try to light 'em up. No go.. Change all vac hoses out (they were badly dried and cracking - soutwest sun & heat does a good job of this)...did a tune up.. Ended up roasting the right rear tire off:laugh:
Thats Good news! Ted, Glad to hear that you got her going! Send us some pics of it doing a good burn out! I will be sending a PM a Little later, Don P.S.MERRY XMAS! :beer I hope Santa is good to you.
hmm...bumper guards???... Isn't that kinda like the Department of Redundancy Department? :Brow:
