i found a place here in illinois that has center caps for my gsx. they want 40.00 dollars each. is that a lot for re-pro center caps? anyone have any for sale?
Mitch makes excellent repros. If you want to play with the big boys, you better have the bucks. If you want cheap parts, buy a Chevelle.

Not knocking Chevelles. Just get these questions from all kinds of people who have had or currently own Chevelles. When the go to buy Buick parts, they almost swallow their tongue or :jd: If you have not ordered a NPD catalog, get one. www.nationalpartsdepot.com You can build a Chevelle from their catalog. All you need is a frame and cowl section. Everything else is made for them.
I have purchased caps in the past from Mitch and was very pleased with them. They are excellent quality. Recently I also purchased his repro lug nuts and found them very good also. Bill
center caps george, why would i need a npd catalog? i own a 1970 gsx. why do you keep bringing up chevelles?
John, Info never hurts. Just gives you some perspective when you speak to other A-body ownes. Also, since you have an X, many Chevelle parts are the same and cheaper than from other vendors. So, you can save a few bucks too for your X or other Skylarks you may purchase in the future or to help friend's save some money.
