Was going through pics today and found these:

I believe this to be his first car - a 383 Charger. Don't know what the guys from the local nudist colony were doing there :Do No: :Dou:

Holy CRAP Lon ..... where did you find those ? :eek2:

That is my Charger - - probably circa 1988-ish ..... :beer Still got it too !! :TU:

Sadly though .... my flock from the *Droopy Boobie* nudist colony was dis-banded shortly after that photo was taken.

Due to the fact that I was a Judge in the swimsuit competition.....I can confirm that LON in fact has firm and perkie "BOOBIES" that are more than equal to most college girls :puzzled:

Is that a luggage rack on the deck lid?

YEP - it's a luggage rack alright. VERY rare on a Charger. The car is LOAD-ED !!

    AM/8-Track
    SE - leather interior
    Gauges
    Luggage rack
    A/C
    6-way seat
    Rear window defrost

    Casey,
I see that you are on the hunt for a Demon. I stopped and inquired about the Hemi orange one I knew of. It is still in the guys' garage in pieces and he still doesn't want to sell.

I think it's more important to find someone who can help Casey get rid of his "DEMONS"

Those pictures are pretty wild ! There was a back issue of Car Review that had a VERY similar pic of the top one from a race in Norwalk (??) at a MuscleCar Nationals from I *believe* 1988 (or maybe it was Bowling Green ??). I got Second Place with a 14.teen something, behind a 401 Javelin in the *Medium-Block* class. Remember those classes ?? Small block, Medium Block, and Big Block ......... ahhhh - - the good 'ole daze .... And the burnout pic I can swear was also a snipet in something around the same time. :Do No: I can't remember where Dave H lost his keys last week, much less racing 15 years ago. :puzzled:

Anyhoo - - if you've got some good quality .JPG's or "other", I'd love to make some copies to frame. Don't have many good quality pics of that car in my "archives" ...... would make a nice addition. :beer

EDIT: NOPE - - the top one is definitely from Norwalk. I remember borrowing my bosses 14' open car trailer with surge brakes and towing it behind my '74 400 Newport. My buddy drove his burgundy '68 Charger. That was one helluva towing experience. My first real taste of why I tow with a dually truck now. Damn near lost the car off the trailer on the way home. The trailer got swaying SO hard that I had to mat the Newport down a hill to "pull out" of the sway. :eek2: Talk about a butt-puckering experience.

I remember the second, burnout pic now !! It was a Chuck Green (remember him ??) Supercar Showdown in the '87-'89 era at my alma matter, Milan Dragway ..... IN FACT - - I was still sneaking into "High School Drags" Saturdays about that time in my life ...... We'd sleep in the cars across the road on Friday night to make sure that we got a good "pit spot". :) whew, that was a lonnnngg time ago. :(

Yeah, I heard wearing a skirt always helped getting into the high school drags well into your 20's, but hey, not for me. Even wearing shorts gets me in trouble.

The top pick is from Milan as well. Until FSMCDR moved to Norwalk the only other time I was to Norwalk was for a major IHRA event. I'll post an uncropped pic at home later. I probably have some from Quaker as well.
