Interested in an auto trans unit if available.

These guards will not pass NHRA spec and may not fly with track tech, but, I think a good idea for a street Buick for some driver safety - better than none.

I should be picking up the driveshaft loops this week. If I have time, I will get them powder coated before the GS Nationals.

I still don’t have a price, but I’m estimating each unit will be about $200 (based on my friends initial estimate and the increase in metal/pipe/labor) plus powder coating. For those of you that want one, if you would rather have it bare steel and spray paint it yourself, let me know and I won’t have yours done.

I will update this thread once I have them in my hands.

Thank you very much. I am in for a 4spd loop powder coated.

One Turbo 400 loop. Unpainted if there is a price savings.

They are ready. I’m picking them up tomorrow and should have final pricing and hopefully powder coating pricing as well.

    James,

Not sure what is spoken for yet, but if possible one of each would work well for me. Also, would like them powder coated.

Ok, they are finally done and almost ready. The only thing left is to get the foam for the 4 speed loops. Hoping to get that tomorrow.

I only had 6 of each made to keep my risk to a minimum. With the increase in materials and labor they came out to $220 each. I was able to get them powder coated for $20 each.

$240 each with free delivery to the GS Nationals next week, or shipping is extra. I know these are a lot more expensive than what Steve used to sell them for, but this is the best I could do at this small quantity. They turned out really nice, and you won’t be disappointed.

I will honor the order of this thread as first come/first served. I will only have a few left if everyone here commits as I am keeping a few for myself.

    Here they are.

    Andrew - 4 speed
    Nelson - automatic
    Ray - automatic
    Brian - 4 speed; automatic
    Matt - automatic
    Steve - automatic?

If this is accurate and all these are spoken for, then there are no more automatic ones left and only two 4 speed ones left.

If anyone has changed their mind due to the price, it’s ok just let me know and I will take your name off the list.
