This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I heard that they started with Olds from friends who used them for their OLDs and had very good comments. Can't comment on selection but, they had what I needed and were very pleasant on the phone. And a pretty good free catalog was with my order.

OK V8 Buick People: This is a wee bit off topic here but I wanted to mention a few things that seem not discussed.

First, I have had tremendous success after learning how to use Rock Auto. They have quite a bit of what I need and most at an incredibly good price. Knowing their shipping costs is also a very important factor. They send out their orders very quickly and so far....so good. I'm not in business so I can afford to wait...and it's not much of a wait either. Their web site is also incredible. It lists so much info about each part and if something's not listed it's usually not too hard to do a search on some key words to discover more info.

Two things I also find so bizarre. One is that the various hobby catalogs don't give a cross reference on which other makes and models utilize the same part. I would think it would greatly increase their business. The other? Why don't the Big-3 market the lion's share of the reproduction parts through their own parts department. Even if they lost money they would have loyal brand customers waltzing through their showrooms viewing their latest vehicles on the way to the parts counter. I thought they spent more than .99 on advertising.

As far as Cars, I've never used them because of all the negative stuff on various forums. OPGI? I used them once for Riviera stuff. As far as I'm concerned they can take a long walk off a short pier. I have used Clark's Corvair Parts for Riviera stuff and they are extremely good!
