Hey guys, I am going to start the build up on my 455. Plans are for .030 over 9:5 comp. TA 413 cam, sp1 intake, TA stage1 almn. heads, TA headers. I'm wanting to get a 850 mighty demon carb, is this a good choice for the motor? Any input would be good. :Do No: Thanks Clint:grin:

That carb should work ok, make sure you use the mechanical secondary model. Unless you are needing a choke, you could easily go with the 1000 cfm unit. Jim Burek

Jim, Thanks for your reply. I will go with the 850 unless I find a good deal on the 1000. Thanks again Clint.

Clint, you may want to up the compression if you are going to use aluminum heads. They can stand a half point or so more than iron without pinging.
