Hey all, Im trying to either replace my intake, carb and air filter, or just the carb and air filter on my engine.. Its a stock 300 from 1965 skylark. {unfortunately its not in a skylark... or even a buick}... I was hoping to replace the manifold with something that adds a bit of oomph - but i cant get a 4 barrel intake, new zealand being so out of the way and all.:rant::rant::rant: with that in mind - can i make an adaptor on the current intake so that it fits a different carb? height isnt an issue, so long as it stays below the roof line of the car. If thats possible whats a good carb to put on it?
