My 455 currently has an Edelbrock intake and carb. I am having problems with the carb and wondering what you all would recommend for a replacement?
I believe the float seats are leaking. Also I cannot get the electric choke to open completely. I put in a new choke stat but still stays partially closed. I believe the choke linkage is hanging internally.
Like Dano said contact, Rob Ross, every day Performance, offers an electric choke for a quad jet Carburetor. I think your Ede carburetor needs arrest.
Also do you know what CFM that Edelbrock carb is? If it’s not at least a 750 CFM, you’re choking that 455 for air/fuel. You may be better off replacing it with a Q Jet from one of our guys here OR an 850 double pumper.
